Joel Whitaker – Album launch

Joel Whitaker returns to York to showcase his new album Furniture Music. A collection of instrumental guitar compositions composed over the last 10 years.
Pulling influences from finger pickers in Folk, Classical, Jazz and Brazilian backgrounds, approached from a self taught angle. We’re delighted to welcome Joel for his first gig on the barge and welcome back his two supporting musicians:

The prolific and wonderful multi instrumentalists Pascallion and Filipe Massumi.

An evening of top-drawer entrancing musicianship offering up a delicious multi-layered experience of cultures and textures.
