Accessibility
The Arts Barge welcomes everyone, we are a community arts space and will do all we can to accommodate everyone’s access needs.
The barge will be moored alongside Tower Gardens and open from 16th July to 8th August, 11am - 11pm (closed Mondays). The Riverside marquee event in Tower Gardens runs from 11am - 11pm from Wed 24th - Sun 28th July, .
There is a wheelchair accessible toilet in St. George’s car park.
For this temporary event, unfortunately wheelchair access onto the barge will only be to the top deck this summer, this is one of the reasons we are putting on the festival this year, to raise the money to complete the works on the barge. Once the barge is completed it will be permanently moored by Tower Gardens and will have a fully accessible disabled toilet and also a lift to the lower deck.
The Arts Barge will be a community space which caters for all, we hope you understand why the barge cannot be fully accessible this summer and we look forward to being able to welcome everyone onto the barge after its completion.
