Curtis Eller

"A savagely lyrical, surreal chronicle of some of the darker, more obscure moments in American history. Cruel ironies, double entendres and surprisingly subtle humor are everywhere in his songs. Eller’s also got a fantastic new album, How to Make It in Hollywood, which finds him taking a full-throttle detour into dark garage rock and classic soul music along with the oldtime sounds that made him one of New York’s most riveting live acts"

Everybody welcome

The Blind Tiger Dance Band: Fabulous 16 piece Lindy Hop swing band with Rinkadon Dukeboy upfront. Blind Tiger is the Arts Barge band which brings together seasoned professionals and up and coming young instrumentalists. You may have seen them at The Great Yorkshire Swing, The Arts Barge Riverside Festival or Hullsapoppin. 1940’s swing music played at just the right tempo for Lindy Hop. Dust off your dancing shoes!

Bargestra: The 20 piece Arts Barge community band for the young, the old and everything in between. Led by Arts Barge Skipper Christian Topman and freshly reformed after the imposed hiatus. Bargestra will play jazz, swing, Beatles, ska and more using their own and traditional arrangements.

The Stonegate Singers: a community choir that anyone can join – no previous experience necessary! Director Jon Hughes teaches the music by ear and anyone can do it. Singing is everybody’s birthright!

All three groups join to make a 50 piece ensemble and a fabulous festive finale. Seeing is believing!
