An aquatic feast of lush music, wild stories & wise words on the Arts Barge, in aid of Right To Roam.
Where better to kick off Love Your River Month at the height of flaming June (?!) than on our beloved Arts Barge? And don't our rivers particularly need some love right now?
* Alt-folk duo ADDERSTONE (@adderstone.duo) will sing you from the dewdrop right down to the ocean.
* Nature writer AMY-JANE BEER (@amyjanebeer) will bring stories from her roaming by paddle and foot, and from Right To Roam's new book Wild Service (she's one of the authors).
* Multi-slam-award-winning wordsmith HANNAH DAVIES (@davieswords_tsw) will cast her unique poetic gaze over the riverbanks.
* Irrepressible storyteller LARA McCLURE (@drlaramcclure) will bring a dark tale of vengeful waters.
* The stunningly talented WHITE SAIL (@white_sail_band) will envelop you with the rich harmonies of their music rooted in the people, the land and the water.
* And most importantly, the brilliant Arts Barge team will welcome you at the BAR from 7-11pm!
TICKETS are £8.50 in advance, £10 on the door.
All ticket sales will go straight to Right To Roam, and you can buy a signed copy of their book on the night too (Wild Service: Why Nature Needs You) - it's all about what you can do for your river!
