• Poem Fishing with Becca Drake and Jessie Summerhayes

Come and join us in this hands-on visual poetry workshop at the Arts Barge in which we will write with the River. Using recycled materials, we will make a shoal of poetry fish, writing words for the river to drift and tangle and working together to create one big collaborative poem with the river.

How can poetry help us to connect with nature and each other? Can we use poetry to feel connected to the river in the city? If a river could speak, how would it write a poem?

No writing experience necessary. This workshop is free and open to all ages and abilities.

• Adana Letterpress and lino printing

  Come and have a go on the Adana Letterpress dating back to 1922 and our premade linocut creations… or cut your own! Free drop-in.

• Screenprinting with Kai West

  Bring along a blank t-shirt, tea towel or totebag and have a go at screenprinting. Alternatively, you can buy a blank t-shirt at the workshop to adorn with a beautiful Drawsome design!
